It has been raining steady since around midnight last night. Not a hard stormy rain that frightens Sam & Rowdy, but very slow and gentle. Great to see, even though my tomatoes could have used it earlier this summer, but better late than never. I didn't pick them green off the vine like my neighbor to avoid a possible frost. So am hoping a few days of sunshine after this rain will turn them bright red. I may have to harvest them all and make a big batch of fresh tomato soup for when the cold autumn weather is sure to return.
I'm getting excited about tomorrow - am going to get up early and drive to Fargo to pick out a new road bike. It will be the most expensive one I've ever purchased and hope I can find a good deal. Also am hoping the rain stops by the time I get there so I can get in a test drive or two.
